Victoria Lim

Clerical Assistant II

Victoria Lim, very quiet, unassuming lass from the Philippines came to this country as an orphan, along with her sister Myla. Her parents Jacinto Lim and Juana Capitli married very late in life and Victoria came along as their youngest daughter when they were in their 50’s.

Adopted by her godmother Lina Navarro after the death of her parents, Victoria went to attend Fairfax High School as a special education student, graduating with honors.  As a child, Victoria developed a hearing impairment and the early onset of depression.  In high school, she discovered her inclination to art and care giving and after graduation, Victoria went for an Associates degree in Fine Arts at the Los Angeles City College, winning a scholarship for some of her art pieces. At the ADA 20th Anniversary, Victoria and her sister won 2nd place at the Art competition, rendering color to her sister’s drawing.

Victoria has been a founding member of CALIF as she has been almost omnipresent in all the pioneering meetings of her sister Lillibeth, assisting them with errands and providing personal assistance to the CALIF pioneer.  Currently, she’s a part-time Clerical Assistant at CALIF, assisting the CALIF Accountant.
